Research Assistant Position (f/m/d)

in the Research Group
“Numerical Mathematics and Scientific Computing“
(Head: Prof. Dr. V. John) starting as soon as possible.
We are looking for: The applicant should perform active research in one of the following topics:
- Simulation of coupled multi-physics problems, preferably for biomechanical problems,
- Modeling, simulation and numerical analysis of neuromorphic devices,
- Mesh Generation for solving partial differential equations in three-dimensional domains.
Expected are the participation in the software development of the group as well as the support of projects from applications in collaboration with partners from WIAS or outside.
A university diploma or master degree in mathematics or a closely related discipline as well as a PhD degree are required.

The working hours are 39 hours per week and the position is remunerated according to TVoeD Bund and is limited to two years.
